Funding
Learn and Serve Tampa Inc was created and has operated with small donations from family, friends, and colleagues. Since August of 2022, we have received funding as a Lead Agency grantee through Youth Service America (YSA). This funding is restricted to supporting youth service activities on three days of national service. We also received a grant from Whole Foods Foundation to build a garden at Burnett Middle School and a grant through Digital Lift to fund instructional technology. We are always looking for fundraising opportunities such as the Community Bag Program. If you have ideas, please share!
We are in need of donations to continue operations! Please consider supporting our efforts. Direct Donations can be made through GiveButter or by check to: Learn and Serve Tampa, Inc, 10118 Cleghorn Dr., San Antonio, FL 33576.
Donations
Donations to Learn and Serve Tampa Inc are needed for general operating funds or capacity building, which will enable us to maintain a website, pay for insurance, and ensure we can continue to offer our service and programs as a whole. However, donations can also be earmarked for specific projects, such as Veterans Day service-learning projects, or the Burnett garden project.
In addition to direct donations, consider event sponsorships and support for grant opportunities through your business or corporation. In many cases, an employee must initiate the request for sponsorship or Letter on Intent for grant applications.
